Basic Tune-Up Class
Tune your own bicycle. This course includes four, hands-on, three to four hour classes covering:
- Basic bike maintenance (including flat changes and on-the-road fixes)
- Brake adjustments, pad replacement and intro to cabling
- Derailleur adjustments, shifting, and drivetrains
- Hubs and bearing overhauls
- Bottom bracket and headset adjustments
- Wheel truing and review
Each class has a two student maximum. It's important not to have more than two students per class as the most important aspect of our classes is individualized learning. Classes are held at the Gracie's Wrench Workshop in NE Portland.
Cost: $300 per student (not including on-line registration fees)
