Wheel Building

This four to five hour comprehensive class on building basic wheels with standard lacing patterns is for those who may have some basic knowledge but want to experience the ride of wheels built with their own hands.

First we meet to consult about spokes, hubs and rims and your wheel truing experience, then meet again to ride away on a wheel set you built!

Student to teacher ratio is 2:1. It's important not to have more than two students in class at one time for the benefit of individual attention and a quiet space for maximum concentration.

Class is held at the Gracie's Wrench Workshop in NE Portland.
Cost: $200 per student
